I've been replaying Explorers of the Sky and the fact that your partner/escort mission mon fainting causes you to leave dungeons is so infuriating. I got to the last floor of 3 dungeons last night. Twice my escort mon was instantly killed by a bounty target we immediately spawned into upon arriving to a floor. The third time I spawned into a monster house and didn't have enough orbs to run away.

I get that you're supposed to go in with enough reviver seeds/orbs to get out of these situations but fuck me if it isn't frustrating as hell and kills all motivation to continue playing.

Fun fact

The number of gens missing out a mystery dungeon Game is the same as the Red/blue games

And the fact that you lose the majority of your items/money when this happens is so fucking ridiculous and punishes the player way too hard for random rng bullshit.

I know it's literally in the name, but I hope there's a mystery dungeon game without mystery dungeon gameplay, make an action game or plataformer where you can play as the staples of the series

I hated super and I didn't care for most of the changes to BRT in its remake so I've accepted that the series is no longer for me, if they never make another it's no skin off my nose
