Content wise its fine with those changes, it just looks cheap as fuck so I would wholly reskin and rebuild it as a 3D game.

It's not the fact that they did it, it's the fact that it was so poorly executed that it comes off as checking boxes and not fanservice.

Only patching new content is allowed in the scenario if your new content if another campaign that acts a sequel that would suffice but the basegame would still exist.

Luminiscent or whatever that mod is that turns it into a Renegade Platinum remake is kino, at that point I just want improved visuals, I hate the chibi characters.
