Overpowered, balanced, shit, all welcome here. Suggestions to buff current abilities also welcome.
>Specialized
All this Pokémon's moves are either physical or special, depending on which stat is higher

>MAGCARGO’s body temperature is approximately 18,000 degrees F. Water is vaporized on contact. If this POKéMON is caught in the rain, the raindrops instantly turn into steam, cloaking the area in a thick fog.
Still annoys me that it doesn't do this. So now it gets
>Evaporate: Nullifies Water-type attacks. When hit by a Water-type attack, cuts Speed and boosts Defense by 1 point each.

>Tectonic Hide
Reduces all damages (even non-direct like Hail, Life Orb, Sneaky Pebbles, etc...) by 50%
Immunity to Poison, Burn and moves hiting on the Double-Weakness (x4)

Bonus: change the music to Xenoblade Chronicles battle music when it enters the battle.

MALICIOUS ILLUSION - this Pokémon comes out disguised as the last member of team, as per the usual Illusion Ability. If the Illusion is broken by a super-effective attack, the opponent takes 50% of their max HP in damage, as though they had just used Mind Blown or Steel Beam. If the move is not super-effective, the opponent takes no damage.

Give it Focus Sash and it could have an easy KO

>Tiny Nuisance
The Pokémon has 50% chances to avoid moves from opposing Pokémon bigger than it in a certain limit (Limit: 0.6 m/2'00"")

>Dissociation
Transforms the pokemon into another random pokemon from either your or your opponent’s team at the end of every turn.

>Retroactive
All of the user's damaging moves are either physical or special, depending on type in reference to the damage classification system from Gens 1 - 3. For the sake of balance, Fairy is treated as special.

ability : motion dazzle
> +2 evasion, +1 speed in terrain

That's the idea. It's a high-rise high -reward of trying to predict when the opponent's going to go for a Dark move. Plus you'd have to outspeed them next turn to finish them off, which even with Zoro-H's speed isn't always a guarantee.

*high-risk

I think it should only decrease the opponents precision since it doesn't mention solidifying

Maybe, but it's other dex entries
>The shell on its back is just skin that has cooled and hardened. It breaks easily with a slight touch.
Do allude to the hardening

Besides a reverse weak-armor that also plays into Magcargos great Def and shit Speed seems a lot more balanced and thematic than accuracy changing cancer

>wave rider
>ignores multi-target wave moves (Surf, Earthquake, Discharge, Etc.)
Probably not really useful, but would be situationally good.

>Homestar Runner
When this Pokémon is sent out, its speed is raised.

These are abilities I've thought of for a gunner Pokemon.

>Sharpshooter
Multi-strike projectile moves (such as Bullet Seed, Pin Missile, etc.) will triple in power & never miss, but it will hit only once.

>Magnum
Multi-strike projectile moves will be 1.5x stronger, but can only hit 1-3 times (instead of the usual 2-5).

>Mag Dump
Multi-strike projectile moves will always try to hit 5 times. The move doesn't stop when it misses at any point, it keeps going until 5 attempts have been made.

>High Capacity
Multi-strike projectile moves can hit up to 7 times. The probability of hitting 4 or 5 is slightly higher than usual.

>Dual Wield
Multi-strike projectile moves are used twice in one turn. No difference in attack power, accuracy, or probability of hits. It literally uses the move twice in a row, and consumes 2 PP (4 if the opponent has Pressure).

>second wind
After being out for three consecutive turns attack and speed are doubled. Secondary effect of being immune to the attack decrease of burn.

>Scrambler
Every battle parameter of this Pokemon is completely random.
>stats
>IV & EV distribution
>nature
>type
>moveset
>height & weight (for damage calculation purposes)
All of the above changes at the start of every battle, and they stick until the start of the next battle. So if the Pokemon happens to get any field moves, you can use them in the overworld until the next battle.

The only things it doesn't change are its species, gender (because fuck that noise & I've imagined this ability on a genderless-only Pokemon anyway), ability, and level (because the stats are random anyway).

I think this ability would be ideal for any Pokemon that are based on aliens, robots, or glitches. If Missingno. was canon, I could see it having this ability.

>Blizzard Wanderer
During the hail all attacking moves have +1 priority

>Retention
In-battle stat changes are "permanent." Any stat changes experienced in battle, both good and bad, will be retained.

Example:
>get into a battle
>use Belly Drum (Attack +6 stages)
>finish battle
>get into another battle
>use Swords Dance; it fails (you already have +6 Attack)
>enemy uses Growl (-1 Attack)
>finish battle
>go into next battle with +5 Attack

All stat changes reset to zero when the Pokemon is healed at a Pokemon Center, deposited into a PC, left in a Daycare, or traded.

>Lunch Break
When a Berry is consumed by this Pokemon, all other Pokemon present in battle (the enemy Pokemon + the ally Pokemon if it's a Double Battle) will be forced to consume their own berries on the same turn, if they happen to be holding any.

Water x0
Ice moves become water and are now x4 against Magcargo's typing
