Is opening a cheese steak cart a good financial decision? What food trucks are the most profitable?

not a bad idea but it all depends on what city you live in and what part of the city you end up putting it in. another thing to consider is if there rival food trucks/carts in that same area and if they serve the same thing that you do.

in short:
>location
>location
>location

Roach coaches are gross. I don't care what they serve. I refuse to eat food made in a truck or trailer.

terrible meal option
looks like soggy goyslop

Wait til you see a picture of any restaurants kitchen lmao. Naive Neet

Taco trucks do well. You need to be where many people work and at lunch time.

Chili and stew/soup trucks in the winter/fall

that's why i'd open a ghost truck instead. i wouldn't have to talk to any spoiled bitch princesses, or really deal with anyone. and when they order off door dash or whatever, they have no idea their food was made in a truck.

There’s a cheesesteak one by my office that I go to twice a month. Love it. Their biggest concern is prob cost of beef. They also connect w ubereats which I’m sure helps.

I think the key is to make one menu item very well. It’s hard to come by consistently delicious food and if you can perfect it as an art the customers will come. So many bad restaurants with frozen shit menus

Also a Chicago dog place by me I hit once a week. Never thought hotdogs would be my thing but they are amazin

for its, it’s the $10 halal platter

>implying I eat out anywhere
That's where you are wrong kid.

Looks like dog food.

If youre far away enough from the mid-atlantic absolutely. Im a philly guy exiled in the Oregonian babylon and I would kill a man for a decent cheesesteak. If i was good at making them and had enough money my dream would be to open up a cheesesteak joint in London or Amsterdam something. I think it would be a great idea but you would have to get some proper rolls, thats the thing. Cheese and steak taste the same everywhere but west coast bread is dogshit

That could work but personally I never like cheese steaks because the food is typically really low quality. I think as long as you make sure the food is actually good and you live in a larger city that it's a good idea. I think it also helps to stand out if you do something novel.

The best hotdogs and sausages I've ever had came from a food truck. The ones from big cities tend to be good, I had a disgusting experience with a local food truck once though. It's hit or miss.

>What food trucks are the most profitable?

Coffee. You don't want to be purchasing beef these days.

This is a good idea too

This is also good. Any kind of flavored water food or drink is going to have the highest profit margins.

>portland
RIP faggot
you ever go eat at those dismal food carts in Pioneer Square and watch all the crazy people doing drugs? I used to work downtown right next to there lol

there are decent cheesesteaks just look around you fucking faggot

t. philly guy living in methland

The city where I live is really jewish about food carts, you need to pay for a license, can only go in certain location, maximum of two trucks per location, maximum of 5 hours, etc

Checked. I think this is true in most places.

What is that?

>just looked up regulations for my state
>need 4 licenses and a zoning permit
Land of the Free my ass

If I ever did anything like this, I'd be selling Mochi ice cream.

>Popular
>Small
>No preparation, just needs storage.
>Easily goes for $1 a piece.
