If you're looking for a job you're looking for qualifications first (i.e accountant, engineer, teacher) then salary to make sure it's worth your time. Unless you're a chad who lies about everything on their resume.

the mcdonalds in my small town is starting wagies 23.50, the mill is starting at 32, and the mine is starting at 40.
If i use my chemical engineering degree ill maybe get like 35 to 45, but the added stress isnt worth it compared to wagie jobs in my area. STEM is unironically a meme and i hate that i fell for it.
