Large, manly Ice-types. Cetitan, Crabominable, either Avalugg, Abomasnow, Mamoswine, Walrein, Garmanitan, Glastrier and Black Kyurem. Any family they have is cool too, but Spectrier, Calyrex, or W-Kyurem will get the cold shoulder since they’re not chill.

GADs. Black Kyurem is a member of both and we had an enemies to lovers arc after the Fairies came.
Poor guy was done bad by GameFreak. Needs any mix of Ice getting defense buffs, better stats, and getting STAB priority. He’s still fun in-game and the earlier access in USUM was a godsend.
Avalugg was also done dirty. It’s an amazing niche physical wall, but G-Avalugg has an awful type. It’ll maybe be great in Trick Room but it suffers heavily from Tyrantrum syndrome - it wants a Rock-type biting move. Still an epic design and it’s fun to use or fight - especially the BBBBB (Behemoth Big Blizzard Boy Boss) Noble Avalugg in PLA.
Normal Kyurem is better than black
Is Dewgong a BBB ? He's the original sea lion, gen 1 pokémon!
Is Aurorus a BBB?
Oh, I do agree, but Blurem is a bigger boy. Kyurem is certainly a BBB in all three forms though, one just encapsulates the ideal frozen form.
I can’t turn those eyes away, so he can stay for now. He shouldn’t get comfy though.
Aurorus is an FFF - a Fabulous Frozen Friend. They are our strongest allies and necessary to compliment the existence of BBBs, thematically and through its utility as a Hail setter.

I must’ve had a brain freeze because I flaked out on Glailie! Snow way I’d forget him, he’s a good friend.
Water/Ice is also underrepresented. The other one is that weird deformed fossil

he is not nearly big enough to count but he's my favorite ice type so I'm posting him.
Cetitan is really cool and I'm gonna use him. Just very frustrating gamefreak wont fix the ice type at all.
For instance
Ice should be super effective against water
should resist rock not be weak to it (Glaciers tore up the earth's surface and carried rocks with them, plus water in cracks in rock when frozen typically breaks the rock)
What matchup changes do you guys think would help ice and make sense?
Ah yes, because Rock is so good of a type, it needs nerf.
Just finished breeding a 5IV Lapras, fed it some soup, and now I can't wait to use it as my Gmax main in a new Shield run.
