Nothing much. It’s a media bs story. Russia never said they don’t want to sell us oil, gas and coal. We told them, we don’t want to buy.
During the cold war, they sold us gas, oil and coal. During the Russian war in Afghanistan they also did. During the Yeltsin revolution they did. During the Iraq invasion ot America they delivered. During the Georgia imvasion of 2008 they kept on it. During 2014 Crimea they did. etc.

To fuel a nation like Germany you’ll need some pretty good sized ports to process and move LNG. These ports require a shit ton of time to build, pipeline transfer to plants as well - basically they’re fucked if they lose all access to natural gas. Think outside of your home heating, think in regards to manufacturing, boilers and whatever large consumer processes need natural gas that you may not be thinking of: Glass, asphalt, medical etc. Germany doesn’t have a ton of oil fields like America, Russia, M.E. And South America so they’re truly fucked if rugpulled. Either way they will pay tremendously to cover their ass

Germany is avoiding the need to build full LNG ports. They're building five floating LNG tankers that can regassify LNG themselves.

1. Russia (yes still)
2. Czech Republic (yes, they got it, also Romaina)
3. Dutch LNG port extra capacity
4. Natural gas from pipelines from North Africa via Italy/Spain
5. Azerbaijan pipelines
6. LNG ports in December (temp LNG ports)
7. by 2023/24 permanent LNG ports
6 and 7 gets us LNG from the US, Canada, Qatar, Saudi etc.

if you're like me for some backwaters like germany (lol) it takes years to really get your finger on the pulse. most shit just doesn't matter, and you have to economize on your time, so you gotta focus on what will actually make you money. europe is not that and has not been that for like ten years. but it's really good to pay attention now! you showed up at a good time.
