Shedinja
Turning anything to Ghost
Turning Ice types into ANYTHING else

Which type will get the best dumb crystal hat?

Kartana getting STAB off of Knock Off sounds terrifying

Oh no.
This user is onto something.
>Normal type Shedinja

Doesn't even need to be Normal type, ANY Shedninja type is good, when you bring one in, now your opponent has to play around Wonder guard walling ANYTHING on their team. Shedinja absolutely wins the best.

Can't wait to get a Tera Dark Donphan for stab Assurance and Knock off and only have to worry about fairies.

you mean the chaos emeralds?? AHAHAHAHAHA

>all these ideas
>none of those pokemon will be in the game

So If i understand correctly, Tera is basically changing into a single type, and getting a Bigger STAB bonus right? And the flexibility comes from changing any Pokemon regardless of single or dual typing into that single Tera Type.
But said Tera type of that Pokemon is something we need to actually find, so for all we know, we probably won't get every type for every Pokemon unless Gamefreak makes it easy to collect, otherwise it might be a limited amount based on Pokemon.

Don't get too crazy bros.
The effect disappear after one switch. And you can use the gimmick once only per match.

Seems like this helps monotyped pokemon more than anything

Seems so.
It's their new raid gimmick to keep people returning

Or anything with a shitty combo like Ice/Rock you'd be happy to drop both those types to become either solo rock, or legit anything else.

As someone mentioned it's hidden power all over again.

>Scizor will have to drop it's only Weakness

I'm expecting Tera pokemon to keep their primary typing. Bug/Steel is still only weak to Fire though.
Power Split Shuckle can perhaps do some real damage without relying on the stupid high base power of Rollout with STAB Gyro Ball. Having the lowest base speed in the game (tied with only Munchlax and Pyukumuku) generally guarantees a base power of 150, which might let it do some real damage.

Any high-defense mon that gets Body Press can also do way more damage with it now. Stuff like Skarmory (base 140) or Steelix (base 200) would really hurt with STAB on the one move of theirs that does good damage.

Apparently the Ball you use to catch Tera Pokemon needs to be recharged, and you can't constantly use it, so this might be Gamefreak preventing Raid spamming, but at the same time, depending on how long it takes to recharge, might be a pain in the ass to collect them all.
It seems like it's built for you to focus on specifics rather than trying to get them all.

WATER AGGRON HERE WE GO

There are recharge spots

It says on site you can reacharge it by waiting or just healing in PC

The description specifies changed weaknesses
But we don't know enough about what will happen to dual types.

pretty much any dragon type would like a fire type to resist fairy and beat steel, especially hydreigon who was in the trailer

Will it only be 1 pokemon per battle?
Is there a limit to how many rounds?
Will tera be random on breeding?

the bug type one

If your half Ice type, it's best to stick to your ice type with the Tera since Bolt Beam is still a really good attacking combo

So do you retain your STAB even if you change types?

>yes
>until its knocked out
>raid exclusive

It's treated like MegaEvolution where it's used on a single Pokemon and stays the whole battle.
