I wonder what they'll do with it honestly. Like, how do you do the connection between HGSS Johto and FRLG Kanto?
Do you just not use HGSS Kanto and cut at the gate?
Do you just include HGSS Kanto on top of FRLG Kanto?
Do you revamp all of Kanto to use HGSS tiles instead?
I can see why it takes so long. If they do include HGSS Kanto on top of the already existing FRLG Kanto, they might as well prepare for BW2 support too.

I used to. I wrote a bot in it to farm shinies. It's kind of underwhelming without any updates or sense of community beyond trading and people speaking other languages in a global chatroom.

I played through the thing however long ago and through every route I went I tried talking to players, and a grand total of two people ever responded.

How's the emulation on it? Does it need tinkering or does it work out of the box?
