XPR aka PROTON

What's the deal with this coin? We had a thread yesterday and there was mediocre discussion so lets have another thread for the discussion of the xpr coin/ proton chain/ LOAN tokens

Attached: download.png (200x200, 5.12K)

yesterday anons were talking about not being listed on binance or cuck base- isn't that good bc that means there is room for growth? especially since they are trying to get cozy with the banks/ gov so they meet regulations/ the law and offer no fees and its simple so normies would latch on? i dont understand the fud from yesterdays thread?

It's one of those shitcoins that get a ticker similar to that of a valuable project in hopes that people buy it mistakenly.

are you a xrp and xpr maxi? i am. do u have a price prediction on either? (jsut for the sake of getting a discussion started)

bump for anons to join in the thread

2k EOY of course

okay funny, how do u feel about proton tho

$0.05 EOY

Cringe

Piss off

Sarcasm I see

Why is the token needed?
The network itself seems cool, but what purpose does the token serve?
There are no gas fees, so the token has zero point.
Correct me if I'm wrong, I vaguely recall hearing about some rhubgoldberg mechanism by which there technically is gas but you just don't pay it.

Shitty EOS clone

Checked

Does it really kill the thread whenever someone asks this basic question?

Mods do ur fucking job get this cunt

Sadly

The thing is, I'm not even fudding. I have some XPR, because I like what they are trying to achieve with the network, and I think some of the shit people are doing is neat, but practically speaking, I'm only really holding the tokens for staking purposes.

I cannot think of a reason outside of printing more tokens for me to hold onto them, to then throw into random tokens. Especially not if this thing ever gets another ATH

I mean fair, what projects are you into that you think will melt faces/ do well next run and long term?

I don't think any of them are going to melt faces really.
>Proton Mint is basically dead in the water
>Paul Grey's marketplace (Globe something or another) seems exclusively done for 3d models and even if Proton somehow captures the metaverse sector, everyone developing for it would just get gobbled up by Meta
>Storex seems chain agnostic in reality
>Snips is just kinda lol
>Why would I acquire loan token when exchanges offer leverage and other debt based gambles
>Something something Metallicus DAO use case because of reasons

That's not to say I don't think there's money to be made, or that projects won't do well as such.

I just don't see anything face melting in the market as a whole

>Stilton - apparently gas free games on ETH, unfortunately because it's gambling based people either lose it all, and the winners dump or gamble it away in turn, so the inflow is lesser than the outflow
>Hearing how CAW is going to be big, don't see why
>ETC might be interesting if the ETH miners switch over to it and not ETHW or just going to BTC
>Some FTM big boy protocols are looking at HBAR because of failure to penetrate AVAX

Unironically, I think the near future action might be on Dogechain.

I mean like other cryptos not associated with that proton such as Matic

Meant to add that that is a fair assessment
