I think it's much simpler, they just like to change up their news cycle for each release, for better or worse. Gens 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 have all had wildly different release cycles, with 5 and 6 being the only ones that had any sort of remote similarity.

Lacking any of these requirements towards your goal is the equivalent of being Dexcut, as well as inequity in comparison to others who are able to transfer, thus creating a scenario of 2nd hand pay-to-win.

We got DLC for SwSh and the online rulesets of using 2 legendaries, which the second DLC is literally all legends, has been the same for nearly a year now. Pay $30 to use Calyrex which slaughters 70% of the game. Then you have BDSP requiring to buy Legends Arceus just to catch Arceus. Fuck off. You put in the same amount of time catching Pokemon in any game, there is no advantage of transferring now that movesets get killed just to use something online. Why are you defending spoonfeeding zoomers? New games get exp candies, nature and ability control at its easiest compared to older games.
