>tfw rent controlled apartment

>homeowner in the mountain and the city
and not in muttland
>feels good

I hate renters so much I'm buying a second house just so I can be a landlord. I don't even care if its the wrong time to buy. Pricing out renters from buying and economically raping them monthly is all I care about. Fuck renters. They will own nothing and they will be poor.

(((they))) tried to raise my rent by 26% this year. I told them to fuck off and found a nicer place that is cheaper. Feels good to WFH

only 5% increase per year, damn thats comfy. Mortgage bros we got too cocky

Actually no, it's fixed here in my country and it's not really the same as in the US. I pay the equivalent of 7.5% of my salary on 'rent' (really just maintenance of the building)

i'm a rentcuck looking to buy a duplex when prices come down a bit. i realize you're trolling or an medicated schizo retard, but this sort of 'reasoning' is retarded because it ignores the ceiling on rents. you can't charge arbitrarily high rents if market wages don't support it. sure, you'll find some goy who is dumb enough to put 75% of his post-tax wages into rent but eventually he'll have an unexpected expense that causes things to spiral out of control and the risk that you chose to ignore becomes a reality.

what's really the end game here

mass civil unrest like what you would see in shithole south american countries

I would think that they would want people comfortable and complacent with affordable rent but I've been wrong before I guess.

True. However, not all rental markets are as susceptible to downward economic pressures as the majority are. I have a home now in an area that can weather the coming economic storm. The house has a fixed 2.5% mortagage that a renter can easily cover the payment on.

Pods being advertised as a "cheaper and convenient" alternative.

u VILL live in ze pod

This is the most based parasite post I have ever read

>tfw my rent hasn't gone up in 4 years and I've saved up $150k in the meanwhile
I will be able to afford premium crickets

>not all rental markets are as susceptible to downward economic pressures as the majority are.

i really doubt this is true.

0% inflation for the month of July.
You're welcome, America.
Time to forgive student loans.

That is because you don't know shit kid. Even in the worst economic downturns the rich still have play money. Resort towns did just fine during the last recession. They will do just fine in the coming one.

oh this post was even more gay and retarded than i imagined. No one cares about your 3rd world shithole for future reference

Landlords finally realized that when there is a housing shortage you can name your own price.

If only there were millions of people who lived in the US that shouldn't be here.

I'm in my mid 30s, got a late start on the career thing. Your memories of 2008 are hilariously misguided.
