What's the point in dying while you're rich?

The two years I travelled half the world on using 0 money were the best years of my life. If anything, money's a burden, a cage. It can be a useful tool but if you learn to do without it makes life a ton easier as money tends to be a cause for worry.

Most of the things in life I have enjoyed didn't cost money. Money is just safety and options and beyond that it doesn't add net happiness. I only want money so I can buy a house and I only want a house because I learned I really enjoy gardening.

Would you rather die in a cold ditch than die in a huge warm and soft bed?

In the cold ditch I will be less fearful of my death because the cold will be uncomfortable, so the death will seem more appealing.

In the warm bed, I'll be warm, but absolutely horrified by my impending lack of existing.

The constant pain and discomfort of the cold ditch will only serve to increase the pain both physical and psychological. The pain will snap you back into reality if you ever try and drift off into sleep and will keep you alert and awake through the entire experience to face to horror of dying.
The comfy warm bed allows you to sleep and if not sleep then to at least fade into a daydream easing the pain of death with the comfort of the bed and of sleep.
Death is never appealing even if you were convinced you wanted to die your survival instincts will kick in and you will desperately want to survive regardless of the situation.

I don't think dying in comfort is inherently better. I think there's a lot to be said for ideas of attachment being undesirable for future incarnations. Better to have it, spend it, enjoy it, and find your way out of here with the minimum necessary. I would attempt to include a decent warm bed in my minimum if possible.

Never, why pay for food when supermarkets throw away tons of fresh food at the end of every day and when they get new delivery?
At the branch here they know people dumpster dive so they keep the meat refrigerated and throw it out at the end of the day so it doesn't go to waste during warm summer days.

I'll go back to buying food when supermarkets and farms stop discarding perfectly fine food (so never probably)
