Ehhh it's pretty easy. Just do things you like to do. I found some friends by playing disc golf. Others at parties or bbqs. You can find them through work or even just go online and be like I'm literally just looking for someone to chill with. I'm sure all that is harder in a small village but if you enter the village and shop in it, go to festivals etc its just a matter of time until you form connections. In the mean time you should start thinking about your look on the daily and analyze what you wear and what others wear and get some practice talking to people. Youll have to start fresh on those tired muscles.
Find hobbies and connect with likeminded individuals.
Your into crypto so you can maybe connect with other crypto minded individuals.
If you made it, maybe move and start somewhere fresh on your own.
Of course don’t flex your wealth around people could take advantage.

I've tried going to meetups but it's always so uncomfortable and I never make friends there. I went over and over again but I quit recently because I wasn't getting anything out of it apart from feeling more depressed after going because I failed yet again.
Man, do whatever you want to do. Whatever makes you happy and fun. Never make your happiness reliant on others, especially friends. They can be gone in a second, especially if they are your friends because of your money. Since you lived alone all this time you should have adapted to being alone (not to confuse with lonely what many do) and therefore know how to entertain yourself.
