It looks like the Pete admin is going to forgive $10,000 in student loan debt for dummies making $125,000 or less a year, just in time for midterms! What do you asshats think about this? I think it's shitty.
It looks like the Pete admin is going to forgive $10,000 in student loan debt for dummies making $125...
No reason not to after they forgave the PPP loans no question asked.
The president doesn't have funding power and can't write off billions of dollars without congress writing a check, the democrats already blew their load with the 1 bill they can pass per year by reconciliation without Republican support on the inflation reduction and irs militarization act, it's over
I think you are a parasite and you should kill yourself debt loving money worshipping financier Any Forums parasite
it's shit but big deal. maybe they use it as the next excuse to pump markets so we can unload these bags before they start throwing real financial haymakers. these people are generally the most pathetic eunuchs or braindead sluts and devoted their lives at an early age to being office sycophant kissass faggots and have been the most active water carriers for the elites so it makes sense they would get special goodies. there is something obviously corrupt and unfair about it though i understand why many would be angry. the redditors were squealing about this for years and now that its happened they aren't updooting it though so even they are ashamed of the generosity.
kys poorfag, I'm tired of paying for losers like you.
I think it is incredibly racist. The average wh*te has $12,000 in student loan s while the average black woman has $52,000 in student loans!! Another example of systemic racism
125k or less a year? Looks like im not getting this lol. Good thing I'm never paying back any of my college debt
t. got expelled for drug use
What they should do is kill the Jew interest on the student loans. Some of those loans are like giving 19 year olds SFH mortgages, this shouldn't even be possible in the first place.
I don’t think this is going to solve anything. If wages haven’t gone up with housing, and everyone was defaulting pre-Covid, how the fuck will this solve anything? I can’t help but think that locking the interest rate at something super low would be a better option and one that’s less politically troublesome
This is QE by a different name. It's just to give a bunch of money to banks so they can buy stocks/bonds/assets and move the needle up by the time Midterms come. Getting some extra votes from people behind on their payments in Midterms is a bonus. It also opens up a whole new campaign angle for future Dems/Repubs to talk about.
Forgot to mention that I personally think Student Loans should be "interest free", the interest the US collects is the higher standard of living and higher GDP of an educated workforce. But the average person can literally not even grasp what derivatives are, so they wouldn't grasp that either
serious question, if i make 90k but my capital gains were like 50k, am i exempt?
>I don’t think this is going to solve anything.
you think this was meant to solve anything?
Of course not, it’s blatant vote buying.
But user, if there isn’t an interest payment incentive, all we’re gonna get is useless liberal arts and education majors instead of STEM.
nigger president buys votes what else is new
>But user, if there isn’t an interest payment incentive, all we’re gonna get is useless liberal arts and education majors instead of STEM.
The incentive to go for STEM is that it makes a lot more money
I think it’s a good start. Undergraduate degrees should be free.
Nope, get married or get paying
Because blacks don't pay it back, it just grows.
you'll live a more stress free life when you realize the US gov will never do anything to make your life easier and you're on your own
>forgive $10k of student debt
>next year every student is in another $30k of debt
They need to just completely remove government loans so colleges are forced to slash tuition by massive amounts. No more free lunch for university admins and diversity officers.
Did you think it was shitty when Drumpf gave any business who applied a blank check for "payroll"? What about when he paid people $800/week unemployment to sit on the couch for a year?
