Fairy is already basically the Light type.
weird way of spelling "fairy"
then let's take away the aspect of light from fairy
how would you imagine the light type?
>Light
>effective against bug-type
Any newly introduced types should not resist bug, should not be super effective against bug or be immune to bug.
>all 3 have immunities
I wish this had been a thing. I'd have loved angels, paladins, Eva-mons, white mages, green mages, and stuff like that.
I just don't understand why they made Fairy resist Bug.
They probably wanted to keep U-Turn in check.
Thank God it's not. This is not another fantasy genre.
I prefer the fairy type.
A third type based on folklore seems more credible to me
Which mons would have nuclear? Sounds stupid. Cyber is cool.
There should also be a typeless option for pokemon like type null although the existence of cyber would make it cyber
fairy, poison and steel already exist
>This is not another fantasy genre.
Like most (J)RPGs, Pokemon actually has most of those things. They're just not explicitly "Light-type", "holy-themed", or named as such. For example, several Pokemon such as Audino and Chansey (Blissey is probably more of a Paladin, IDK) are basically just white mages. The only things you don't see much of in Pokemon are archetypical "holy-themed" or "holy-adjacent" visual designs.
>The only things you don't see much of in Pokemon are archetypical "holy-themed" or "holy-adjacent" visual designs.
This is very much intentional.
>Shit
Trying to dig for another element or element-adjacent type
>Okay
Trying to dig for another species or species-adjacent type
>Reasonable
Nerfing Fairy substantially
>Best option
Nerfing Fairy modestly by removing its Bug resistance and making Psychic resist it
>Nuke type in a Japanese-produced game
user...
chrono trigger
>ANOTHER type effective against Psychic
>and ANOTHER type effective against Psychic
Fucking why. As if Psychic isn't shit enough.
