Where to move abroad as a software engineer?

Where should I move for SWE work? I know America is an option with crazy salaries but high cost of living cancels it out. I've also considered Dubai as that's tax free income for a couple years, any other suggestions? I just want to get out of this shithole before cost of living gets ridiculous, I'll even leave my girlfriend if she's not onboard with it so suggest any 3rd world country if that's viable for techoids.

Ireland.

fuck you

Renting there is a nightmare and it's a flat tax rate too, don't really see the appeal financially. Dublin is basically London prices but in Euros.

Bulgaria

Tokyo is alright. Depends what company you work for and if you speak the language to the basic enough level to enjoy though. Deciding factors really.

>Moscow
>$36k net as a senior software engineer

how can I easily move to a developed country?

1 pound should be equal to 1 dollar so we have to stop doing these stupid calculations

I live in one of the poorest countries of the block (Latvia) and still make more than that. So probably literally any country will do

If you're getting paid £42k BEFORE taxes, I don't think Dublin can be compared to London in any way.
If this post is serious, you're getting ripped off. I make six figures AFTER taxes and I am a senior engineer. I guess you could move to America.

I moved abroad to the Isle of Wight

I've seen those day in a life Tokyo videos and it looks like a nightmare, wake up at 6, commute maze subway for 3 hours and that weird office culture. What are the benefits?

I'm in Scotland, the average salary here is like £27k so I'm one of the higher earners here.

Dont work for a Japanese company otherwise like I said its not worth it. The office culture is fucking annoying unless you work for a foreign based company.

If you get employed at foreign company and speak like… intermediate Japanese N3 or so its great. You avoid most the bad parts and gain a lot of the good parts. It’s probably still ok with no Japanese but i’d find it annoying at this point.

I have no idea about these day in the life videos bc i dont really watch youtube but I’d generally just avoid youtube as a source of anything on Japan.

weeaboo detected. Life in Japan is not the way those Chinese cartoons make you believe at first glance. Anime is just the private sector's propaganda to boost white immigration ahead of the economic turmoil JPY will go through. In reality, being born Japanese is a worse fate than being born African and starve to death.

I worked with a Russian developer, he was very good at what he did. Before he moved to the UK he worked in Poland for several years. Not sure how feasible this is for you now though.

Uruguay or switzerland,maybe belgium

I had a team in Switzerland, the work culture there was shit and everything was expensive. No job security either.

I don't know any Japanese so don't think it's feasible for me, I'd probably just visit for pleasure than work.

I onky moved here because my gf was Japanese and i thought i’d give it a try. The only anime i have ever watched is dragon ball. Way to make assumptions.

I basically already told OP that Tokyo is good but only if you can avoid having to live the typical local lifestyle ie dont work for a Japanese company.
You get all the great parts without the cancer.

wow touch grass chud. you should be happy to stay in scotland and pay your fair share. who else will pay taxes for the bames, the poc and the transfolx to get public services and not to mention reparations

>was Japanese
You moved to Tokyo for your ex?
