There are many ways to make wealth. The most common ones are through strong family units where you pool resources through generations, marry other people of high status to retain wealth. Most stupid people can't do that since they're selfish and only care about short term results.
Outside of that you're basically relying on being highly talented at something.

They are separated by whether or not they feel rich or poor
A poor person who feels will spend all their money until they either go broke or barely stop to still remain poor
A rich person will feel like a poor person all the time, always thinking about ways to make more money and accumulate more wealth and especially preserving their wealth so that they can starve of their feeling of being poor, and in order to distance themselves from the chance of ever becoming poor
it's a endless cycle either way, and you can either be in on cycle or the other, the choice is yours
