why on kucoin of all places?

well you can always do matic if that's your stuff

How safe is Kucoin anyway

as safe as the other exchanges really, and that's not saying much

With Voyager going down, im starting to get a little concerned about Kucoin. I have been using them for a very long time, without any issues, but is there a risk that it can go under?
I just want to be sure.

I like kucoin cos I can use futures, but the app has bugged out on me several times, not allowing me to close positions, even after closing and restarting app several times.

Any exchange is a risk so only keep on there what you need gor your trades. They could close withdrawals, or steal your coins if they wish as its not your keys.

Yup, im looking for a Ledger, until then Kucoin or Binance is my safest bet.

However im hearing a lot of stuff about Kucoin, and how they lost a lot funds from the Luna crash etc. Its probably just fud, but i dont want to risk losing my money, especially right now where its one of the best buying opportunities. Rather safe then sorry

Been using Kucoin since 2018. I don't have any problems with deposit, withdrawals or any complaints I see here and the TG.

Nothing is perfect, if we got a problem we can ask their support. For me its safe. Still DYOR how to be more safe like having Hardware wallet is one.

Agree, have only been using for a couple of weeks, but they have been great. Under these circumstances i am a lot more cautiosn, 2 exchanges are rn going down, and al though i dont see that happening to Kucoin, its better to be safe then sorry.

Agreed, I’ve been using KuCoin since 2020 and only ever had 1 problem and it was with tax statements which was corrected by customer service although it too a while. I have had zero problems with deposits, trading, or withdrawals and I use it frequently. The amount of complaints out there is scary but I think everyone has to remember that crypto is still the Wild West, if you agree to being your own bank and you are not absolutely perfect in everything that you do then there’s no room for complaints. OP if your going to use KuCoin or any CEX I would only leave the crypto that you are using for quick trades in the exchange, move everything you want to keep to a cold wallet, that minimizes your risk. Good luck

I buy my coins on KuCoin, and always been happy with their services so far. But as soon as I buy, I withdraw to my ledger wallet. My keys, my coins.

KuCoin survived a big hack in 2020 for over $280M USD. KuCoin paused deposits/withdrawls/trading for a few days. After opening again KuCoin made everyone on their platform whole. Furthermore, KuCoin is the 5th largest crypto spot market exchange according to CoinMarket Cap and CoinGecko. All of that should give you some confidence. But with all of that said, not your keys, not your coins.

KuCoin has been great for me and I use it often. I believe it is actually one of the most solvent and profitable exchanges and it is battle-tested. Security is better than most. Cold storage is generally safer (but lots of stories where people screw that up and lose their bags as well). Lots of FUD now. Do what makes you feel safer.

everything is dumping anyway

Part of this is why I have my GEEQ on it. But I like staking, and I can't stake it on Kucoin, only on AscendEx. Problem is, I don't have an AscendEx account.

ERGO

Any reason for choosing Kucoin particularly? What about gate or AscendEx. Anyways, there are very nice low cap Blockchain projects on there, so this might be a plus for them

kenshi.io (BNB)
StreamerInu (ETH)
Spiral (ETH)

You're welcome

What makes having one soon difficult user? AscendEx provides some respectable apy. Honestly, I prefer the stake.

Some people are impatient with completing KYC. But then, it's not difficult a thing.
