How do poorer people afford to spend $900'000+ on multiple kids?
Can any economists help me understand the math on this
They don’t spend money on hormone therapy.
they steal
They must be including Department of Education spending which is obviously just a giant black hole of over-spending
child labor
No one said gibbs yet?
BS, calculated that my dad and mom raised 9 kids from 0y -> 18y with aprox 500-650k total, but we were poor when youngest were 0-4y.
tax cut gibs and gibs. 50% of americans are so poor they pay $0 in federal income taxes. married filers get a higher standard deduction. child care tax credit is like $2k per kid. per the US government, 40% of women who give birth in the year 2016 are on WIC. i'm too lazy to look it up, but a huge chunk of the country is on a welfare program of some sort (beyond just tax cut gibs.)
It’s propaganda to get you to stop breeding. They want you to stop having kids so that they have a reason to fill your country with 3rd worlders.
T has 3 kids and they are cheap. Medical is the most expensive thing other than dental and sports.
>Medical is the most expensive thing other than dental
poor kids get that free
>could raise a kid
>chooses a niglet
I wonder how dysgenic the US is?
It really seems like all of the high IQ women don't have kids (can't really blame them).
I really think the only practical solution to this is going to be 'designer babies' (soft Eugenics) but it will only really work if it's universalised.
A kid costs absolutely zero,
Child support costs 0 if your income is 0 .
The cost of children only exists because women are terrible with money.
"Omg my baby needs 4 pairs of shoes!"
"Omg i need to get them another sippy cup! Ohhh its so cute!"
what's worse is the cost for families and society is roughly equal for all children, but only whites and asians end up net positive at the end of their lives.
The main cost in raising kids for high income Is opportunity costs not necessarily the direct costs themselves.
Indeed that's why they spend so much on childcare for example, because working less would cost them even more, especially in the long run.
This is the reason for the paradox of 'kids are too expensive to raise' but also the reality of low income parents.
Child raising is increasingly mediated through the state in the form of benefits ect.
Because they lie as a demoralization campaign so people wont have kids. People have been having kids since the beginning of history, with no money, and have done just fine. We didnt have widespread electricity 100 years ago but now your kids get taken if your house doesn't have it, people have gotten absolutely crazy in their perception of what it takes to raise a kid. They dont all need brand new clothes ever year and everything else they lie about in those "studies". Not every kid needs to be raised as an imaginary extension of royalty.
nobody needs a "demoralization campaign" to stop you having children, all they needed to do was manipulate women into thinking being "career-driven" was a good idea. having children is always off the table when both parents would need to work full time.
you either offer at least 18 months paid leave, which is near untenable for any competitive company, or you get rid of the mental illness in society that drives women to slave away through their tiny 15 year fertility window.
Only libtards send their kids to ((( public schools )))
Save money and home school.
you think you're funny but no one fpbp'd you and neither will i, maybe you should reconsider your life choices..
>inb4 kys tranny
learn some new jokes and maybe you wont get called out
>inb4 seethe cope dial8
go back faggot
it's a tired joke but so is degenerate society
Subsequent kids are considerably cheaper because they can use hand-me-downs and you learn the little tricks to not waste money unnecessarily (ie, taking your kid to a hospital every time they get the sniffles, not spending a lot on clothes they'll grow out of in a few months, etc)
if i had a son I'd put him on paper trading tell him that any profit he makes I'll give him in cash. once he gets good I'd switch him to real money trading and take 50% of his profits. that way he'll pay for himself and make me money
Yes but sports and clubs are still expensive unless you are trash and your kids just sit around on iPads or tv all day.
You need to start with stuff like lemonade stands, mowing lawns, selling comics/cards/whatever the fuck on eBay, etc. Just get him doing random small businesses to lead him down the path of being financially minded.
I think teaching him trading at a young age has a much higher chance of just turning him into a gambling addict. Or you'll just crush his spirits since 90% of traders lose money and the chances of your kid being a prodigy savant are insanely low
Also get him into runescape and rts games
Teach him to create bots for mmorpgs that farm gold
>be me, autistic dad of 12
>take them to McDonald’s or chikfilet playground
>stay there 12 hours
>get a cup of water
>leave
I think sports are cheap. even hockey can be done on a budget (depending where you are) and its probably one of the kroe expensive sports
