In Austria you have to do mandatory civil service for a year and so I started my degree at 19. Took me 7 years to get a Bachelors and Masters because I was clinically depressed with social anxiety (2 years of covid only made it worse).
Boomer employers don't want people who took forever to get their degree so I will always make minimal money. 1 year experience so far as a junior programmer, probably suicide soon.
