You could have become a doctor, software engineer, lawyer or a pilot if you had listened to your parents and studied hard in school
But now you're here stuck forever
You could have become a doctor, software engineer...
I could have become a software engineer but I hated it as soon as I got my comp sci degree so I pursued day trading full time since then.
The world is turning into shit real fast, user.
My parents told me to become a doctor.
>became nurse
Going to np school in October
I wanted to be an engineer or a physicist but I am bad at math so that never happened
I am graduating med school soon, sadly Medicine is fucking retarded and you have to get assraped during residency
>NP
First, you will never be a doctor lmao, second the NP market is shitting the bed already.
All software engineers are about to be justed for contributing nothing, pilots have horrible work life balance, and lawyers have gay
My close friend who is a balkan immigrant got me into a lucrative business. We both made good money. Spent too much. Now he got an incredible contact and is gonna be making crazy money. I'm sad because now I'm scared I won't see him anymore. He's my best friend. He pushed me to take risks when I was a neet. But deep down, I think I can't be his friend. I don't deserve to weigh him down. I can continue making good money. But I'm sad I won't be able to hang out anymore. I'm also sad I can't be as brave as him. Even a month ago he was depressed. Now he's happy. I want to be in that spot too. I miss him.
I am studying to be a software engineer, and believe me, it's fucking worth it
I went to a coding bootcamp for 3 months and got a 6 figure entry level job as a DEI hire.
It sucks and there won't even be any good jobs left by the time you finish unless you want to go work for one of the most evil corporations in the world and live in silicon valley wasting most of your money on living expenses.
I became a data scientist and now I haven't had a woman touch my peepee in five years.
>The world is turning into shit real fast, user.
yeah, i have friends who worked hard so they could buy that plywood mcmansion and have their lexus SUV, theyre going to straight up starve to death one week after the trucks stop trucking
Imagine buying a plywood mansion and not having a huge cellar full of food and a vault full of guns. That's what I'm looking for.
Eh you are probably just falling for the Any Forums bait. These schizos and (nowadays) boomers have been calling a world collapse every day for the last 10 years.
What is more likely is that once shit hits the fan everybody is just much poorer than they used to and won't afford the luxuries and cheap debt they used to. Some professions will get hit much harder than others.
Maybe there will be a mayor war, but I doubt it. Nobody profits of it.
I dont mind not being a doctor. Np make enough. I can probably make as much as an np without going to school if I just switch job sites
Congrats on med school user!
Residency will be a bitch
I'll have to see about the market though. A lot of my recent NP co workers found jobs with relative ease
If you go for the NP market you should really research the market first. If you want to live in any major city (lol, lmao even) they are already filled with NPs.
Don't get suckered into being a pseudo doc while a Doc is "supervising" you even though he works in a completely different clinic, shit can get south real quick.
Fucker half of us are in IT
i chose to be here instead of continuing my education to be a doctor. now i have better functional grasp on endocrinology, nutrition, kinesiology, injury recovery, and preventative medicine than any of my peers who wasted their lives to become medical doctors. granted, there are highly specialized meme doctors like peter attia to whom i am indebted for knowledge, but 99% of doctors are just shabbos goy standard of care middlemen.
true...true..
I wouldn’t give away so much of my time doing something I don’t really enjoy for my entire life for even 1 million a year.
