I don't know if the leaks are real, but the concept sounds fun.

Future Nickit
Dark/Electric
Using its bushy tail to generate static electricity, it overloads vending machines and bird feeders to grab a free snack.
It uses ozone generated by high voltage to mask its own smell, but the electric crackling sound can give it away.
mostly gray and unremarkable, but the tail is static'd out into anime hair spikes and has some yellow/orange gradient near the tip.

Future Thievul
Psychic/Electric
Using its tail as an antenna, it can intercept and then replicate radio signals to get behind locked doors to find shelter.
While normally solitary, it can apparently communicate with nearby Thievul over radiowaves, sharing info about lurkative or dangerous places.
thinner and smoother tail, maybe a bit of a trenchcoat vibe? dunno
