Why does the fucking dlc area start with a lvl 10-12 battle when its supposed to be a post-game area?

Why are you an imbecile who hasn't finished the main story yet?

…It’s not. IoA was designed to be started as soon as you get to the Wild Area.

The Isle was designed as a sidequest, played mostly around gym 1-3 so you can claim your gift Bulbasaur/Squirtle and Kubfu and train them in your main team then come back later for Urshifu. CT is the post-game section.

It's not a post-game area. You can access the DLC any time. When you beat the champion the levels go up to 60 I believe. Your fault for starting it so late.

It came after the game. Why does it scale with the first zone. And even then if it CAN scale why doesn't it scale with badges? Gen 8 games are the most half-assed games on existence.

Then why are there fully evolved level 10 mons? it wasn't meant for anything this looks like a massive oversight.

It only scales after you beat Leon. Literally, you have the option of level 10s or level 60s. That's it.

>it came after, why does it scale with the beginning?
Because there are two parts to the DLC, one sidequest for during the story, and one for the post-game.

Thats shitty considering that isle of armor came 6 months+ after the release of the game.

There's more people playing the game than autists who bought it on release and only played through the story once.

Yeah theres the autists that didn't bought it and just wanted to played comfortably on their PC and installed the DLC after playing the game for around 20 hs.

It's after you catch Eternatus.

only the Crown Tundra is meant to be a post-game area which is why their wild Pokemon are level 60+ even before the champion. Too bad (for some people), Peony's battle is purely optional to win and you can just go to the Dynamax Adventures an hour into the game, catch a Suicune, and run through the rest of the game effortlessly.

Isle of Armor is actually meant to be played alongside the main story, and then lazily scaled if you beat the champion.

>Then why are there fully evolved level 10 mons?
Because it is content that came out 8 months after the base game. If it was truly meant to be postgame content, they would have just have them at level 60 like they did with Crown Tundra.

>There's more people playing the game than autists who bought it on release and only played through the story once.
Considering that most sales for any game are within the first three months, you're factually wrong about tis.

the idea of making a side dlc area to go alongside the story falls a bit flat in execution when you can already steamroll the game just by dropping a couple EXP candies on one pokemon even in the base game
giving the player even more opportunities to become overleveled in a game where it is already piss easy to do so doesn't strike me as particularly good game design

>you can just go to the Dynamax Adventures an hour into the game, catch a Suicune, and run through the rest of the game effortlessly.
Raid dens in the Crown Tundra scale with the number of badges you have despite all the wild Pokémon being level 60 or higher.

So if you're lucky, you can get a raid den with a Tyrunt or any other Crown Tundra Pokémon.

>using exp candies
The game gives you those instead of experience so that you can choose not to overlevel. You can't blame it for your own decisions.
