Anyone have any nostalgia for ROM Hacks here? What do you miss/don't miss about older ROM Hacks? Are they still your favorite years later?

I miss the earlier era where putting all legendaries into a game + your own fakemon (Like Ruby Destiny Reign of Legends) was a huge fucking deal. Even if it did have a shoddy presentation, I still "respected" the fact it was some guys cool anime passion project rather than this drive to be the most polished game in existence. I sometimes miss ROM Hack passion projects like this.

someone make a proper one please

You just posted the best one. I love this game. I just wish the first couple of hours had more polish. Though that could be a limitation of the time. I love how this game doesn't use resources. They had to add in all the Gen 4 pokemon themself, so they're kinda wonky looking vs looking like every other hack. It's really charming. I'll never forget the random shiny horsea you get. Apparently it's a bug or something. Collecting all the legendaries to fight Angeallen was cool as shit. I loved Dark Lugia too and its 140 power 40pp move that drops your accuracy. Hilarious shit.

Gaia update when?

Now that the dust has settled, can Pokemon Pink by Jason Godwin get some genuine criticism, reviews, and feedback unrelated to how he draws women and how short his game is?

How is the balance, the lore, the item and ability changes, and so on?

What’s banned spell? That’s not a real move, is it?

I don't know, the game crashes whenever I try to use the mon in battle
Also, never knew that Dragonair has a Predator Vision

Unironically speaking ,the only rom that I've played without speeding on the emulator is pokemon Conquest

it has boobies so I hate it
and it lacks kanto so I hate it

In radical red it does one of 7 different things randomly (like lunar dance, shell smash, etc)

Right after Procyon and Deneb's complete release

Quarantine Crystal and Gneis update when?

quarantine guy trooned out and gneis user had to flee ukraine

Knees user is a kraut.

I don't know why Pinkdev bothers.
This is not the place where intellectual Pokemon discussion happens. Prove me wrong.
Attacking the criteria of my challenge or attacking me for stating this proves me right. Intelligently critiquing Pokemon Pink proves me wrong.
