The anime thinks Type Specialist suck

> Every Champion that focuses on one type lost.
> Iris and Lance: Dragon
> Steven: Steel and rocks
While diverse teams like Leon, Diantha and Cynthia dominate and make it to the top 4. What did they mean by this.

DIVERSITY IS OUR STRENGTH

Leon prefers to mix overwhelming his opponents and entertaining the crowd, along with being an expert of Gigantamax
Alain prefers to dive straight in with explosive attacks
Diantha prefers to create defensive shields and use a variety of different moves that induce status conditions
Lance prefers to use decisive attacks that finish off his opponents with one blow
Iris brings out the full potential of her Dragon-type Pokémon but also can make use of Pokémon with double types
Steven has the ultimate defense and is easily capable of draining his opponent’s stamina
Cynthia is the strongest all rounder, she prefers to let her opponent’s move first and can adapt to any situation
Cynthia is referred to be the “strongest Dragon-type user”
Ash is a tactical genius and fights with the experience of all his Pokémon. He is also a master of Mega Evolution, Gigantamax, and Z-Moves.

Bosses specializing in one type was always one of the worst things about the games to me. You can beat multiple characters just hitting one Super Effective move. Cynthia became popular because children didn't know what to do against her.

Cynthia became popular because she's the first female champion don't kid yourself

>Cynthia became popular because children didn't know what to do against her.
I did. I knelt

I mean this is true even in the games so you can't blame them.

I mean her FIRST Pokemon is Spiritomb which doesn't even have a weakness in Gen 4. Unless you brought some high IQ shit like Foresight Lucario or whatever, but kids aren't playing Pokemon on that level.

Kids just used their overleveled starter and a Staraptor and easily swept through her team like every other champion. There's nothing in that team that gates an overleveled starter.

>Ash is a tactical genius
I disagree.

You're giving kids too much credit. The amount of kids who even managed to do that pales in comparison. Shinx and Buizel I would argue ended up as staples to people's teams, so if kids used anything else (hint: they fucking did) then it meant less cumulative level so no over leveled bullshit as you insinuate.

Based

So basically, Ash is the Pokemon Master and the most powerful trainer in the anime at this point?

I'm pretty sure I swept her and I wasn't a very smart kid.

Yeah, but she is still the strongest champion with the strongest team
Both when DPPt came out, and BDSP

Only in a vacuum. In reality Ghetsis is much harder than her.

yup

Ability to connect with a wide range of Pokémon indicates that you're flexible and better able to adapt to unexpected situations.

Steven's team does have some diversity. He's also a Sand Storm CHAD. He was not at full power. Probably wanted to get it over with so he could go look at rocks.
