So then how was it able to battle Pikachu I know it’s its ability, it doesn’t make the situation any less retarded. It took more damage fighting Pikachu, that it has a type disadvantage against. Fire Blast made it scared when it literally just blocked Fire Blast a couple seconds earlier. The writing makes absolutely no sense.

I'm happy that I got to see Iris in action again, although I didn't like to see her cry, it made me feel very sad, but it was also cute in a way.
I think Lance > Iris because he was 2nd in last year rankings, gave Leon a close match and gave Diantha a close match as well. Two close matches > Beating an old and busted ojisan no one respects.
