Yeah. Her team isn't really bad, the fight is just a bit underwhelming. Like first off Team Flare grunts get 3D models in battles but she doesn't and she uses Hawlucha which doesn't really fit her and her music is one of the less memorable champion themes.

If being a bland do-nothing “character” who’s only won to appease the coomcooms means she deserved to be in the top 4, then yes.

Her team was never the isssue, it’s just that XY gives the player so many powerful tools (and XP for doing nothing), that she seems weaker comparison. Strength is relative, she’s not going to feel very impressive if the okayed gets Mega CHARIZARD in the second town
