>Ash is using Sirfetch’d, Dragonite and Lucario against Cynthia or Iris, whoever wins >Gigantamax Gengar is Ash’s trump card against Steven >Cynthia is referred to be the “strongest Dragon-type user” >Even though Alain isn’t a regional Champion, he’s counted as a League Champion >Ash’s strategies against Steven are a lot more tactical than usual >Steven prides on how strong defensively his Pokémon are which will be Ash’s main struggle >Magazine makes a point that people pay a lot of attention to Diantha and Leon’s battle >”Finally, the world will see the true hidden power of the Alola Champion”
Specifically says that Ash decided on using Sirfetch’d, Dragonite, and Lucario to fight if he overcomes Steven.
They are really pushing the point that Ash is fighting for all his Pokémon instead of just his main team this time. He’s applying experience from his other Pokémon into this battle, so we may or may not see some old strategies being used here, or cameos of Ash’s old Pokémon.
Also says Ash powered up Dragon Rush and Will-o-Wisp which will be used to counter Steven’s astronomically strong defenses. They hype Steven up as the “Iron Wall” of the Masters 8, no one has been capable of beating his defenses.
>>confirmed Strongest dragon-type user >They hype Steven up as the “Iron Wall” of the Masters 8, no one has been capable of beating his defenses. >noone Leonsisters .. our hype is deflating rapidly
Leon/Diantha will likely be treated closer than the Alan battle was, even if Leon still leads with a lot of pokemon not KO'd. I think there's a chance of a longer semi's, even if it's only 4 on 4 or 5 on 5.

>semis are basically confirmed to be a 3v3 Nooo.....

She only has 2 dragons (1 in the games) Which is enough to make her the strongest

>Alola Champion Can people here stop saying that Ash isn't the Alola champion already? He's already been referred to as such multiple times both in-universe and in promotions. Claiming he's not the champion is just moving goalposts at this point.

It hasn't really been confirmed. Just that Ash has remaining Pokemon he'll be using next time. It would also mean Pikachu is missing out on the Cynthia battle, which feels odd to me.

>Leon/Diantha will likely be treated closer than the Alan battle was, even if Leon still leads with a lot of pokemon not KO'd. Leon just barely beat Lance in dynamax battle and Diantha > Lance she will push him to the very brink
Since Tomioka's interview about surprise characters watching the battles was true (like even including Richie and the Johto trio), I do believe him saying "surprise pokemon" will happen too.
Literally none of the pokemon shown so far are surprising. Lance and Cynthia are using pokemon they were known for, Alan's went down fast, and even Steven has known pokemon. Leon having Mega Charizard Y would be the only real surprise (in terms of this context)

Cynthiabros we can finally breathe now... Iris still needs another half a year before she beats our girl

I want her to oral me. And YES, I would reciprocate.
Still lame that she's a dragonfag She was cooler as a master of all types

Was Gastrodon using Memento confirmed? None of the leakers on twitter said anything, I wonder if the guy on the previous thread was just making that up.

Don’t forget the most important translation
>Cynthia VS Iris >Stay tuned to see how she fights against Gaburias. Iris, who aims to be the ace of Dragon-types; a Dragon Master faces Cynthia; the strongest Dragon-type user.
Also lol, the magazine calls Leon VS Diantha a “Superstar Vs Global actress showdown” and genuinely asks will Diantha make Leon use more than two Pokémon

>only battle as a side hobby >barely train at all >make up for it by thinking tactically
