I was quite peeved by that as well Drasnabro, it just made perfect sense for both BDSP and PLA and we got nothing.

user. Even fucking PLA forgot her family comes from Sinnoh. She mentions her grandparents from Celestic Town. So she, more so than any other non-Sinnoh character that got an ancestor, deserved one and didn’t get it.
Fucking Drasna ancestor with H-Goodra was perfect and they wasted it.
I’m not hopeful for her future in the franchise.

To be fair, Celestic Town hadn't even been built yet when PLA took place. They probably immigrated to Hisui after it was built since there's no chance they're Hisuian natives.

maybe in pokemon masters, its the only game where they treat the human characters more respectfully for the fans, even if its a gacha, they even include the most forgetable ones :P so theres a chance for her to be added eventually

Don’t remind me about another of the little disappointments of PLA. Celestic Town is said to be one of the oldest towns in Sinnoh. When PLA was announced and it was revealed to be around the 1800’s I remembered that detail and Drasna’s line and looked forward to seeing either the founding of the town or it being an established settlement.
We got nothing. Only that Cogita might live in/near the area of modern Celestic. Failure at world building.

Firstly, it takes place in the 1910's, that's a fair way off from qualifying as the 1800's. Secondky, Celestic Town's not in the game but you still go to its location. It's a significant chunk of the Coronet Highlands map. That's the reason you don't get to see it as a town.

The electronics used in PLA were invented after 1910, and the settlements the game uses as real life reference didn't exist in that capacity until after 1900.

user it’s like mid/late 1800’s or so. Part of the whole Hisui becomes Sinnoh is based on Ezo becoming Hokkaido around 1869.
