Are any of the Pokemon Games on 3DS worth playing?

Yes, all of them except vanilla SM.

At least once.

Which one of them first?

Just play them in release order.

X, OR then US

USUM might be the best game in the series in terms on how up to date it was. SWSH was a regression in comparison. Also the ultra necrozma song is a banger.

Yeah, vanilla Sun & Moon is the most comfy change-up to the formula.
The ultra games go too far into bizarro territory and the pre-SM games are chibi-clunkfests, so vanilla Sun & Moon are the only two I'd recommend.

ORAS and XY

no

XY and ORAS if you want a more traditional Pokemon game that's easy to pick up and play.
SM if you want something more story driven.

Don't listen to that user. Play sun or moon before USUM. USUM makes edits to the games story to reduce the amount of text but that makes the story shit and it changes the ending so the waifu had a good end instead of a bittersweet one. SM is a great game if you can handle reading and if you just slow down and enjoy the rich building done to Alola as a region. At release Any Forums wws pretty positive too. It's on replays that SM falls apart because there's just so much text and you don't like Lillie you're gonna be frustrated. USUM has a great gameplay campaign and it's worth playing but skipping to it is a bad idea.

XY is really only gonna be fun if the idea of 3d Pokemon is novel to you, which at this point it shouldn't be. If you turn the EXP All off it can also be a good game to Nuzlocke. ORAS is a good time if you want to just catch Pokemon. It is piss easy but the DexNav is a nice feature and soaring to find legendaries under specific conditions without a guide can be fun.

Vanilla Y with Exp. Share off.
Just don't use the Mega Lucario and it'll be enough of a challenge.

Also play blind. One reason a lot of people have a bad time with newer games is they go in knowing everything and plan things out to be ready. That's not to say the games don't have other issues but there are some good battles in SM that try to spring unexpected traps your way and if you prepare for that you'll miss out. And I'm not saying the games are perfect it's just that planning like an autist removes a lot of fun.

Story is irrelevant. Play one or the other

It isn't irrelevant. It's part of the Alola experience. Story was a very important aspect of that generation. USUM is a lesser experience.

SM does have a better story but USUM is the superior game over all.

No

Site?

You mean USUM.

USUM adds no notable features, so you may as well play the one with the better story
