here's everything that happens when you evolve.
>a flat, one-time +5 to your stats, +10 to your hp, something you can get with vitamins and gummis
>possible new moves/ability/type
That's it. Some pokemon, like Smoochum, actually get significantly worse when evolving, if you consider level 1 dungeon potential.

In super it does, otherwise it removes use of moves like Bounce and renders Ground immunity useless.
