Screenshots that leaked today were for the next trailer. The trailer itself doesnt have much written information, its just in-game footage of the gym leaders and pokemon. Similar to the second trailer of SV, the actual information will be posted to the site itself.
The trailer included the middles forms of the starters. Sprigatito is on 2 legs now, with a wilted/droopy mask and has a pink flower around its neck. Fuecoco looks more like a crocodile with a longer snout and its body changes from red to orange with a white stem on its head and has a jack-o-lantern smile on its belly. Quaxly looked much taller and its wings wrapped around its body like a cape. Its legs could extend when fighting.
Gym leaders shown are Bug, Electric, Water, Ice, Normal, Ghost, Ground. Only 7 of them were shown. No gym stadiums were shown, only the leaders
Girafarig, Pawmi and Spinda were shown in the evolution screens and battle screens. Girafarigs evo has its tail as a hood, pawmi just evolves into a bigger pika clone but it seemed to use a fire move. Spinda became a giant fluffy bear. Its face has spiky fur covering it forming giant eyebrows, a moustache and a beard.
Other new pokemon shown were the early bug which looked like a cockroach and the early rodent which looked like a possum that has its tail hanging over its head. A small ice type dog that had a rainbow tail.
Big difference between a one-off like that and what's meant to be one of the most common animals in the region. Keep in mind they went through the effort of giving a reason why Yungoose where so common in Hawaii.

What is the point of this thread. Why are you regurgitating the same leaks and speculation that people are discussing on this very board at this very moment and adding your own nonsense in

Why is there a beaver in Hokkaido? Why a meerkat in New York? The answer is that pokémon don't have to be related to the real-world inspiration for their region.

this at least wait more than a day if you're going to piggyback off of an image leak

>Keep in mind they went through the effort of giving a reason why Yungoose where so common in Hawaii. No that's the one off. Gen 7 had deep world building, the best in the franchise by far, and everything inserted into that game had a reason for being there. Every other gen just takes animals at random and shoves them into the region. Not sure what made Alola so special but no other gen operates like it did.

It was because it was Ohmori's pet project to develop the ecology of the Pokémon world. That's why we got things like Mareanie answering Corsola's SOS only to attack it.
