Their super soakers can't effectively penetrate Universe's steel armor, and that Salamence still had the dragon type trait of being weak to itself - specifically, the ice sculpture couldn't survive two icicle spears being thrown at it.
I think Snowstorm should get to make some ice sculptures. I've always wondered how cool an orange ice sculpture would look like.
Also, can I just mention how inappropriate having Angie's boss theme for her mooks (regices and these ice soldiers) is? I'm pretty sure boss themes should be used for climactic showdowns and intense obstacles, not generic mook smashing that happens in two turns or less.
Didn't bv1 have this complaint about the earlygame Reborn batle themes as well as the fact that the wild battle music in Rejuvenation being an earrape "dubstep" remix of Mewtwo's theme?

does anyone know if it's possible to give Sylveon a coverage move that doesn't suck? hyper voice + moonblast was redundant and the only special attacking TMs I could give her were magical leaf (which covers no weaknesses and has low power) and shadow ball (which I guess is only useful against psychic or ghost types, or anything resistant to fairy)

Let's tally up the major fuckups Kanon has done 1: Rushed towards a shiny object on the seafloor and got Alexandra and Damien frozen and imprisoned by Angie 2: Destroyed the only hope of ending Angie's reign over the island's servants out of loyalty to someone actively trying to kill him
