>crystal gyarados breeding Why not just cut out the middleman and use a Ditto? If you have a means of getting your Gyarados on a Gen 1 game you can use the Mimic Glitch to get a Shiny Ditto. I've used it to get some bitching Shinies for Stadium 2.
