Does the game tell you if you're being put in a queue with trio or duoQ players while you're in the picking character screen? Whenever I'm Soloing and I get put in alongside a three-stack, I know there's a good chance the enemy three-stack are probably real players in a Discord trying to play the meta, in which case, I don't want to fucking throw pick with Wigglytuff vs. their Hoopa. But I can never tell beforehand and I don't want to just throw away all the lower tier mons I enjoy playing, I want to be able to play Wiggly and Zeraora SOMETIMES.
