So how come PM19 never capitalized on its seemingly endless potential? It feels like they were literally given free reign to do whatever they wanted, include any characters they wished, make up any arc they could imagine, do whatever they want to try and pump the figures and they did fuck all with it. Despite the supposed open-endedness of it compared to earlier series, it still feels like the most streamlined and linear of them all, and the most predictable too.
Is there any hope it'll be better going into a new series?

So if the Koharu ep is real, do people really think Dawn and Serena will appear in it? Dawn is possible due to the opening, but I really don't know if Serena is coming back again.
The summary saying, "Koharu's friends meet" really could only imply them, unless they refer to say the Glaceon girl trainer or something.
