How would a remake of this gen even work? It is actually two games. They would need to release two remakes in a similar timeframe. But 2 also functions like a third version with a lot of things like the Subway being the exact same. They could try and combine the content into one game in theory but we know GF is too lazy for that to work. Would we really get two remakes of gen5 games?

i don't think we'll get a gen 5 remake, they made it pretty clear from bdsp's low effort that they're not interested in remakes anymore. but if they did, it would just be base black and white leaving b2w2 ignored.

They'll make a Let's Go kind of game that incorporates elements from BW and B2W2 (most B2W2 shit being postgame only), but completely does its own thing while still largely staying familiar to BW.
