she's good as a buffer for your DPS pairs, no so much for tanking. thankfully playing the Champion Stadium tutorial will give you SS Blue, who IS good at tanking. Save your gems for next month's anniversary banners

i don't know much about Marnie's kit but I think she's your typical strike type DPS. if you need a fairy type and don't have Diantha it might be worth getting, but personally I like weather teams too tho I've had Steven for years.
