zangoose is my favorite pokemon. his hidden ability "toxic boost" allows him to deal increased damage when poisoned, which allows him to deal devastating boosted stab damage with the move "facade". he also gets access to choice priority moves such as "sucker punch", "quick attack" - which is also stab boosted because of his normal typing - and "feint", which will allow you to deal with stalling threats using "protect". zangoose also gets access to belly drum, which supplements his high risk high reward playstyle even further. zangoose is a very well rounded pokemon propped up by the smogon meta of carrying toxic on every other pokemon. in low elo ladder, however, you aren't guaranteed to come across toxic spreaders for the boost from his his hidden ability, so you may have to carry a toxic orb to ensure that your zangoose outputs the biggest amount of damage it can.
