The "example" you posted went to shit because of a furfag named Duncan forced his OC in it and made retarded demands regarding the OC like the paw pads having to be visible all the time, having to look EXACTLY like the OC, and he got assblasted over the fact all the Kaiju can have evil versions of themselves. There was also another furry who got in on it with their OC as well but unlike Duncan he was completely lenient of how it was depicted.
The developers ended up abandoning the project because they rightfully didn't want to be associated with furries.
