I am a wfh amateur myself. Not sure if I should just take the leap and become a wfh professional.
By amateur I mean I keep manually wiggling the mouse of my work pc every 20 minutes or so, to keep the skype on green.
Don't have access to change much settings, so there isn't anything I can do about it except invest in some kind of machine to move the mouse for me.

Just get a watch (not digital) and put your mouse on top of it. The second hand will trigger the movement. Or put some tape under the scanner and flip the mouse upside down in front of a desk fan so the tape flops around triggering movement

Hybrid is the worst. You cant really move to a cheaper location and you have to commute 2-3 times a day. And you just know youre one psycho manager/VP away from being in the office fulltime.
