Well, it's just that BW2, Emerald, Platinum, HGSS and even USUM are all very good games, so it wasn't easy to pick a winner. But it's definitely B2W2.

I generally agree but it really depends on what I want at the time. HGSS has a bit more going on overall, and BW is a really solid singleplayer experience, so those are my top 3. Emerald loses points only for ugly overworld sprites and a bunch of the BF being kinda shit, I can live without the Physical/Special split for a good singleplayer experience though. If we're counting the GameCube titles I also really like Gale of Darkness pretty much exclusively for the Battle Sims, I just think they're neat. It's just a good game otherwise.
What are you saying B2W2 doesn't waste your time as much as some of the worst maps in Emerald? At least the above water routes feel faster with repels. Might as well post some DP maps if you really want to show time wasting.

Original Sapphire was my first pokemon game and for me personally ORAS wins out against Emerald because the new EXP share and super training allows me to actually use a Shedinja without 50 million hours of EV training and having to find the exact trainers Shedinja can get exp from.

I think B2W2 is the best game due to how much content it has. It just happens to be in Unova.
