Will this difference in architecture be reflected in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?
Will this difference in architecture be reflected in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?
No
nothing beats the classic
romanesque >gothic
knowing game freak expect:
>first area based on Castille, big city Madrid
>an area based on Cataluña and Navarra, La Sagrada Familia, near Kalos
>an area based on Portugal and the Canary Islands, basically Okinawa 2.0
>some desert area based on moor Spain
>some marshy area on the north with references to Galar
>simple yet pleasing
>needlessly ornate
Portugal by a landslide
A bit disengenuous hermano
Actually La Segrada Familia is not quite typical of Spanish architecture. I think you need more architecture lessons!
No, because Portugal isn't even in the game
Sagrada* woops
Watch Spaniards pretend the game is based on Spain even though the starting town is clearly Portugal
that chapel isn't La sagrada familia
Shit that is the cathedral of my city.
There are gothic cathedrals in Portugal too and vice versa.
Too late
They'll probably give all the atention to spain and completely shit on us. We'll be lucky if we get one proper city honestly.
Fuck average cathedrals, give me one of those bone chapels. There are a few others all over Europe but I've only ever been to the Portuguese one.
I'm from Portugal and I couldn't care less about these fanfiction games
If GF were asked to do actual architecture, they'd spend the year allotted for the entire game's development on just one gothic cathedral. It's not gonna happen.
The architectural style difference has nothing to do with country but time period. There are lots of romanesque churches in Spain
I'll always root for you Portugal-chan!
