The strangest thing about Torkoal being absent is Tomioka wrote all the big episodes of AG, and wrote the episode Torkoal came back to battle Brandon's Registeel. If it was some other writer who never worked on AG I could understand, but it's Tomioka himself writing the Paul episode.

Why do they show him using Ultra Balls on the regi's but Gary/Go use normal Pokeballs? I mean it makes no sense, Gary could have at least used an Ultra ball too.
