Faecoco is FAKECOCO

Notice the fun drawing of the Fuecocos on Faecoco, the one Fuecoco is missing its patches. This has to be fake then.

Those patches should be visible even at an angle.

wow the board is fast

My doubts of fae were always swapping the white skull head to be a lower jaw. But I'm more skeptical of it now due to the fact that it's hair is more clearly hair, while the website clearly states it's fire, and will probably be central to the final evolutions design. Like how the fire feet patches on scorbunny were because of the soccer Evo.

Is it actually possible that they just didn't draw the patches for concept? Literally just asking, not trying to be an asshole.

Was rivaling Any Forums's pace for a bit

That's a design detail of Fuecoco no one else had known til today. It was also strange imo we didn't get the other two leaked as well.

The only back details we saw from the original trailer was a scale patch on its tail, which the one Fuecoco here is definitely missing. Reference sheets should always be accurate, even with a fun little drawing, it's off-model.

That's because it's just more fun to draw fuecoco evolutions because the design feels like it could go literally anywhere besides "thin anthro humanoid".
It's the most fun to speculate about.

that doesn't work like that user, especially when the patch is big enough not to be ignored

Should be noted that the scale patches are also functional, meaning less likely to be forgotten about, and that the one with his belly up has the patch while the other doesn't. Which mostly makes sense if the artist didn't actually know what the back of fuecoco looked like

I already had my doubts because of the underarm inconsistencies

Possibly. Pikachu in Incineroar's concept art was very simplified, like no black ear tips.

Artists can draw however they like

But you can still tell that's a Pikachu regardless.

you can still tell it's fuecoco

Not definitive proof. Artists regularly simplify smaller characters to avoid making it look cluttered, even if it's "less accurate". Especially since it's the 3rd form that is being highlighted here, not the 1st.

>Fuecoco hair deforms with how it's lying, as if affected by gravity
>Fuecoco's hair isn't hair, just fire shooting out the top of it.
This is way more suspicious.

The scale patches on the back of Fuecoco, assuming Faecoco is real, would be an important detail to note though. The first form needs to connect clearly to the final form.

It's a weird case where it would have given more credence, but the angle is too forgiving to say either way. Now if it had put a patch right on the tail like that scorpion mock-up did, it would have been an instant red flag.

If anything, the whole idea of the patches storing power would make sense if it ended up sprouting wings out of them.

This is a decent point, however.

either the scale patches or the fire tuft of hair are going to be important details regarding Fuecoco and what it's final evo are. No different than Popplio's neck ring becoming part of Primarina's dress later, the leaf bow on Rowlet becoming part of its cape strings later. The only oddball is Litten because it doesn't have a visible fire until stage 2, and that's around the neck not the belt it becomes in stage 3
