We already had an alien-themed ladybug pokemon. They could at least make it so that it has some interesting interactions with leadian, such as ledian swarming to them or something like that (alien-ufo relationship of sorts), but it was in the same gen that ledian was cut so it just feels like a worse version of the same concept.

They literally just share the ladybug similarity, Ledian is cute bug waifu, nothing alien-like.
Shes native from Johto, the most natural and organic region ever, no way they have aliens or other sci-fi refferences likes Galar.
