>People invest in Bitcoin created by a still anonymous creator >Digital currency gets normalized by the masses >Pandemic hits, businesses go cashless to stop the spread of COVID-19 >Big box stores "temporarily" replace self-check outs to conveniently not take cash making it a less convenient payment method >Fast forward to 2020, 105 countries, representing over 95 percent of global GDP, are exploring a CBDC
Are we are witnessing the death of the cash economy?
cbdc doesn't have to be using blockchain technology and it will not. Name one blockchain that could actually handle all the transactions without paying gas fees?

CBDCs are just retarded. The world will eventually return to the only real money it ever had: Gold and Silver. History has proven this and will continue to do so.

We went over this years ago and the answer is chain link. Contemplate how one would verify gold reserves in North Korea from New York. Trustlessly. Think about how useful it would be to compare oil prices between say Russia and Scotland but without needing to worry about the validity of exchange rates.

shut up stupid, you go back >Name one blockchain that could actually handle all the transactions without paying gas fees? I was simply providing an answer to this gentleman's question. Do you have a better answer?
