I just got off a call with someone who used to work at Citadel (NY Branch). They said that Citadel have finally caught on to the fact that GameStop (ticker: GME) is going to issue another stock split dividend next July.
This is just more confirmation of what we already know about the closed door deal with GME and the SEC to “maintain the integrity of the markets”. I have it on good authority that share price will rise to roughly $800 by July next year. Then after the split it will rise again to $800 only 6 months later.
So it would make sense to maximise gains by holding through both splits.
Isn't there some hardware bullshit in modern motherboards where Microsoft has to approve of your OS anyway, no matter what it is? (I was thinking of Secure Boot, whose description seems to imply that the big corpos get to decide what OS you are and aren't allowed to use on your PC).
And aren't there like, mandatory backdoors that powerful enough people could use, regardless of what you do? Also, will using these accounts on another OS help, if Windows is already installed to the same computer? Or do I need a new computer to make this work?
I'm taking in all the advice - it sounds useful for more than just MOASS purposes, so thanks.

You can turn secure boot off on any x86 machine. It's what I do to run Linux with a couple of hand-compiled drivers.

Hardware level backdoors become incredibly difficult to use if your router isn't cornholed (see OpenWRT), your OS isn't cornholed (Linux), and you run Firefox+uBlock Origin. Combine all that with full disk encryption and you're generally safe.
And yes, use KeePass or one of its forks. I use KeePassXC on desktop Linux, KeePassDX on Android.
The last missing piece is to use a VPN if you're on a network you don't control. Never, ever, ever connect to CS over non-VPN public wifi or 4G/5G.

Checked, but no, you can buy a HDD/SSD and put whatever OS you want to on it. As for backdoors, I'm not sure but I'd say it's very likely.
