Gen 7 has a relatively good OST, Gen 8 is terrible i don't like any track in that game, i don't know if you can feel it too but the SW/SH tracks sounds offbeat and different.

Kahuna theme has tone problems in the literal sense. It shouldn't sound dramatic then immediately be replaced with cheerful and upbeat instruments.

At least they still tried with OR/AS, the remixes are inferior to the originals but still like the fact that they are remixed, in BD/SP it is just the original MIDI tracks with a modern soundfont. OR/AS was lazy but BD/SP is on another level of laziness.
